Not only did took more than I expected, also the size of the box I guess for carrying purposes, it was a total waste of space. Easily you could have fit in there like 20 more guitars. Bottom line regarding the guitar works great and next time pack things more according to the product size.
the rock band guitar for ps2/ps3 is pretty good. What I don't like about the guitar is the strum bar.when there is a fast part on the same note, the strum bar does not do it's work by strumming fast. What I really do not like is that when you activate star power by lifting the guitar up,it won't work. You HAVE to press the select button.Which can mess you up in an easy way.I thought the desingn was very cool unlike many other guitars.Overall, yeah it's pretty good.
have had some problem with the guitar itself- stopped strumming on the "down" strum, which was a bummer
bottom line the strum bar absolutely stinks. the buttons are just as bad. buy rb by itself and use your gh controller. toss the rb guitar in the trash
- The guitar can't be used to auto-calibrate the game like you can with the one bundled with Rock Band 2. - The guitar doesn't have the player indicator lights under the PS button like the one bundled with Rock Band 2.
The guitar works, but here are some things you might wanna know about it. - The guitar won't go into overdrive mode simply by tilting it a few degrees.
I bought a wireless guitar for the PS3 after receiving Rock Band 2: Special Edition for Christmas. (Maybe the guitar I received was faulty, but as a warning).
You'd have to either press Select or tilt it repeatedly. With the latter option, hopefully you'll be lucky and overdrive activates by the 3rd-5th tilt.
(Most may overlook this and only applies to PS3). (Minor annoyance since it was made for Rock Band 1).
